Today Breyer Portrait Model and special BreyerFest Birthday Bash guest Kuchi is celebrating her 10^th birthday!  Her birthday is particularly noteworthy to the history of the Gypsy Vanner breed because Kuchi was the first Vanner to be born in the United States.

We asked you to create birthday cards that we sent on to Kuchi for her birthday. We had a hard time picking a winner so we decided to award a glossy model to the first place winner and two regular run Kuchi models for second and third place!

 Audre Schutte of Oshkosh, WI

Audre created a beautiful watercolor card with a special message inside: “From the Old World…to the New”.  Better yet, her card featured exciting music reminiscent of a Gypsy celebration! 

 Second place goes to Cari Chaney from Norwich, CT with her “Genuine Gypsy Parts” pop up card and Katie Dema of DeKalb, IL earned third place with her ultra girly glittery Kuchi card!

Bill and Wendy Ricci, owners of Kuchi, were so impressed with the birthday cards that they created a display to take to Equine Affaire in April!  Be sure to visit them if you’ll be there!
