Sculpting Valegro

Valegro

Sculptor Brigitte Eberl, who is based in Germany, is in a perfect location to see many of the great dressage horses compete in Europe. And this has stood her in good stead as the sculptor who has sculpted a number of Breyer's most recent dressage models: Anky Van Grunsven's Salinero from The Netherlands, Ann-Katrin Linsenhoff and Paul Schockemohle's Totilas from Germany, and Carl Hester, Rowena Luard and Anne Barrott's Valegro from the U.K.

In this article from HorseWyse magazine (AUS), Brigitte talks about sculpting Valegro. Enjoy!

I honestly have not bought Valegro. I can’t seem to find a gold one though, but it does not really matter if it’s gold or not. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a Valegro?

Very informative and enjoyable read.

It would be great to have as many Breyer Sculptures history's from the original artists point of view. Even bring up older articles from the past molds. Pictures were also great. thanks so much for sharing.
