Breyer creates model in memory of Lacey Jamieson

12/26/13

Breyer Model Horses recently presented Diana and Douglas Jamieson with a model of Forrest, the horse of their late daughter, Lacey Jamieson. The Breyer Test model of the dappled dark grey horse was created in memory of Lacey May Jamieson after she passed suddenly from a rare blood disease in October.

Our website, Facebook page, and Customer Service department were inundated with Breyer fans' request to make and sell a model of Forrest in Lacey's memory. Lacey's dedicated friends and followers taught us what a wonderful and vibrant young lady she was. It is very clear that Lacey had a special relationship with her horse, Forrest. We are extremely grateful to our fans for showing us what an amazing young lady Lacey was. Few people have such a joyful spirit and sense of courage. It was our fans' persistence that inspired us to create this model.

Breyer Animal Creations feels that it would not be appropriate to make a model of Forrest to sell. The specially created model was created to honor Lacey, and was given as a gift.

yay breyer

Lacey was such an inspiration not only to me but to all of my barn friends. I am so glad that Breyer made a Forrest model for Diana and Doug, I know it really means a lot to them to have so caring people help them through this tough time. even though I may never own a many Forrest like many people want to, I am greatful to Breyer for making such a beautiful horse for an amazing family.

I admit, I would've loved myself a breyer of Forrest, and so do all my Instagram friends. But if he was a model to be sold, he would be looked at as just another horse. I'm glad to see that only the Jamiesons have one

Great job Breyer!

I'm very pleased that Breyer made Forrest just for the Jamiesons. That way the Forrest model is much more special. :)
