SO cool! Wish I were part of the Collector CLub!

I see, thanks! I was afraid for a moment that is was a first-come first-served thing. That would be a bit like being in a mall at 4:30 on Black Friday just as the doors open. And that's putting it mildly.

the Breyer Boutique works a lot like BreyerFest SR tickets. Each attendee receives a number, and the group of 200 is broken up into colors or groups of some sort and each person gets a turn lottery style for starting number to the line.

I have a question, Breyer, how do you distribute all of the SRs for the event? Do you draw tickets? Thanks!

Personally, I am kind of glad Breyer did the "one person ticket" deal. It is already a lot of preparation to cart 200 people all over the greater Chicago area, and if everyone brought a companion, well with 400 people, just waiting for everyone to get on the buses would take all day. But...I do wish I could bring someone along, since going to a jazz party ALONE does not sound like a tremendous amount of fun.
However, if I get picked, I will go with someone, but since they are not as all-fired about Breyers as I am (strange, isn't it?), they are more than happy to relax at the hotel (provided they have cable!), and drive around town in the rental that I am paying for. So both of us are happy. So I really hope I get picked. And thank-you Breyer for hosting something in the Midwest.

An idea to consider...

Perhaps it would be nice to offer a "Companion Ticket" for purchase to those Collector Club members who are drawn. Those tickets could be at a reduced cost and not include the celebration model, but still allow those who don't want to travel or attend alone to have their traveling partner attend with them (instead of leaving them all alone in the hotel room - so sad!).

Tickets

I wish that we could have chosen one or two tickets so that we could go with a friend. I for one do not want to drive that far to Chicago alone.. Also going with someone makes things more affordable as you can split gas, hotel rooms and even food just like when attending BF. My friend and I still plan to try for a ticket in hopes that we will both be picked. Keeping our fingers crossed.
