Program Co-Founded by Former Breyer Intern Honored at IHSA Championships

At the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's National Championships in Raleigh, N.C. on May 5, the IHSA awarded Healing Hooves, Goucher Equestrian Team's fundraising initiative, the National Service Project Award! Founded in 2009 by former Breyer intern Charlotte Kellogg and her teammate Randi Turner, Healing Hooves is an annual event which benefits five local Baltimore therapeutic riding centers!

Charlotte said, "It is an amazing feeling to see an event like this blossom and become an institutionalized event on campus. Just three years ago, I was wallpapering my room in post-its and frantically calling the co-founder Randi Turner '12 to make sure the event would actually happen. This year, Healing Hooves has really come into its own, and I'm proud of every member of my team."
