Teddy Roosevelt's Little Texas

6/29/12

1443

On July 1, 1898, Little Texas and his rider, future U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, bravely led the charge of the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry in one of the fiercest battles of the 1898 Spanish American War: the Battle of San Juan Hill.

Described as a “pony” by historians, he will always stand tall in national memory!

Period Style - A new tack line? Or maybe a Special Run raffle item

As a long time Breyer collector, I appreciate the workmenship and study that goes into developing a Breyer doll & "leather" tack set with all the fine details that reflect a particular period style. A doll & tack set with Teddy Roosevelt & Little Texas in their volunteer Cavalry historic 1898 attire would certainly add to the collectible value of this fine model. Maybe a limited production product available to collectors via a raffle.??
