Yikes!!! It sounds like that teacher did not really know how to teach!!! I bet it would be hard to have been taught different ways of riding and stuff by different people, as every teacher has their own way of teaching!!!! :)

Every lesson is crazy for me! (I don't get them often)
Last time, I was riding in a circle with some friends and the lady kept telling me to bring my horse over to the railing but the way she was teaching me how to do stuff was completely different to how I learned from other people who've taught me. I was going ALL over the place and then the horse got excited and wanted to pick up the pace. After speeding up, it made all the other horses want to go fast too and so I had to slow my horse down and aaaaaaahh! It was fun but VERY different to what I'm used to!
Another thing about crazy lessons, is when my friend went to this place to learn to ride, the first thing they had her do was barrel racing!!! And she didn't know squat about riding!!! Well, she did know how to make it go, turn, and stop but not much! It was insane! (:O

My CRAZY riding lesson

Nov 13,2016 3:34 pm by BreyerQueen6

Wow! Ok, so I just got back from my riding lesson. The thing (or things) that were crazy about it:

1) At one point, I accidentally put my foot into the "canter" position (even though I don't canter yet, I only know how to walk and trot)

2) When I was trotting over a pole (I was doing an intense course, but this was an easier part of it) instead of just regularly trotting over the pole, my horse, Zeke, JUMPED over the pole!!!!

So those of you who are more experienced then me, PLEASE DO NOT LAUGH!!!!
(P.S. Just in case you were confused, I do not have a real horse, just models =)
