NW Expo, April 19, 2014 - Corvallis, Oregon

Fifty-eight entrants came from around the Northwest for the 27th annual NW Expo. There were 10 divisions, including the Kids Division, which had a strong turnout with seven entrants ages 7 to 12. Five divisions ran simultaneously morning and afternoon, keeping everyone hopping to get their models to the show tables on time.

New this year was the Performance Challenge, in which entrants used the same OF Breyer for all their classes. They only found out 30 minutes before their first class which model it would be! They were each presented with a Zenyatta. The challenge was to show this model to the best of her advantage in a variety of performance classes. Entrants also had to quickly adjust their tack and write appropriate descriptions for the events. It was a chance to let creativity and knowledge of events shine through. Erin Corbett, who suggested the Challenge, donated a Breyer Big Easy Bash "Gris Gris" for the Grand Champion.

Thank you very much for again having the Breyer Live Show Benefit Program, and for again selecting NW Expo! It's truly an honor to be part of it and I greatly appreciate the donations.
