Breakables at BreyerFest!

What are Breakables?  If you collect model horses or other equids made from clay, bone china, porcelain, or large production original finish resin, then this is the show for you!  Many of the model horse hobby’s finest artists have created incredible pieces done in both china and resin and this is a great place to show off and compete with your collection without having to transport these fragile items to Kentucky!

This online model horse photo show is open to VIP, All-Access, and Online Traditional Access ticket holders and takes place on our partner platform PonyBytes during the late spring and early summer, but final awards are presented on-site at the Clarion Hotel on Thursday, July 13^th.  Digital flats will be available for download to all 1^st-5^th place winners in each class, but Overall Champions and Reserve Champions will receive rosettes, special ceramic awards, and prizes from Breyer.  The awards ceremony will take place in-person and be live streamed, so Online Traditional Access ticketed participants are not required to be present to receive their awards.

As well, since this show is hosted online, any participants who DO want to bring some models from their collections to the Clarion are welcome to – table spaces will be made available to any participants who wish to display models; email Show Manager Maggie for details.

• Shay Canfield and Dara West will be your Original Finish Americanware judges.
• Kristina Francis and Kirsten Wellman will be your Original Finish Europeanware and Original Finish Other Country judges.
• Brenda Metcalf and Marcy Myers will be judging Original Finish Resin and Cold Cast Porcelain as well as Small Production and Test Run models.
• Heather Bochonock and Nancy Kelly will be judging Original Finish Miniature models.
• Elaine Lindelef and Bev Manderfeld will be judging Custom Glaze.
• And Teresa Buzzell will be your Performance and Animals judge.
