BreyerFest Children’s & Youth Model Horse Shows!

This year at BreyerFest, we are offering fans more than a half dozen ways to participate in showing off their collections and carpet herds, including the best way to get involved as a new, young model horse fan – The BreyerFest Children’s & Youth Model Horse Shows!

Being hosted in-person at the Kentucky Horse Park, this show is open to VIP and All-Access ticket holders and is still accepting registrations!  If you’re a teen or the parent of a child who is interested in getting started in the world of model horse showing, then this is the perfect place to get started!

Show Managers Eleanor and Kim make these shows fun and a learning experience – both shows have the same class lists and run concurrently but are divided by age group.  The Children’s show is for kids ages 4 to 12 and the Youth show is for teens 13-16 and both shows are slow-paced, informative, and a great place to get all your questions about this aspect of the model horse hobby answered.

Why should you show at the BreyerFest Children & Youth Shows?  Here are two great reasons!

1) Make friends with people who also love Breyer models. Meet people from all over the world who share your love of Breyer and real horses. Show Managers Eleanor and Kim met through the model horse hobby!

2) Learn about showing and build your model horse show skills. The Youth and Children shows are designed to prepare you for future showing experience. The staff will help teach you the skills you need to do well in shows by having you research breed assignments for your models, and how real horse anatomy translates to Breyer models. The staff will provide critiques of many of the classes so you can improve your entries. The emphasis is on making you the best possible entrant!
