With less than month to go until BreyerFest 2022, we thought it was about time we shared some information on the Live Auction and a few of the spectacular models with you!
For the first time in Breyer history the BreyerFest Benefit Auction will be a hybrid auction, meaning both in-person guests and virtual guests will have the chance to bid on models all in real time! More information including instructions on how to register to bid for virtual guests will be coming soon.
The Live Auction starts off strong with Lot 1- a Bay Leopard Appaloosa on the Shire Gelding, mold #744.
Lot 2 is the Andalusian Stallion (mold #584) as a Sooty Dapple Palomino.
The Live Auction is on Saturday the 16th of July at 5:00pm in the Hall of Champions, come early to register at the table for a bid card. Auction models will be on display in the Visitor Information Center all day Friday and until 3:30pm, Saturday. As another reminder, the Live Auction raises funds for a number of our BreyerFest Beneficiaries.
Keep an eye out on the blog for more Live Auction model releases!

I love that Appaloosa Draft! It looks like some that I wold paint!
I wish Breyer had a ‘Bodies’ option, where you could order molds blank, or primed for a !esser price than the painted ones.
A) A completely blank model that doesn’t have anything on it wouldn’t need to be stripped for those who strip them instead of painting over the OF. Or 2 like me, who looks for any flaw to justify painting it, and at the last minute adds what should have been a body, back to the OF shelf because he’s just too pretty to paint!.
So option A would be bare plastic for CM’ers who like to CM bodies and sculpt & carve… And class B bodies, would have just a base coat of pre primer for those of us who just want to paint.
Obviously Class A models would be the least expensive bare basics… And B slightly hight……. And then of course Class C mmodels are yout Fancy OF models…..
