We covered some of the most generous Live Auction bids last week so let’s take a look at the Silent Auction winners today!
The Silent Auction started off strong with Lot 2 raising $2,600 for our charities. As a little reminder Lot 2 was the one of a kind test Carrick with a beautiful handmade Garland and tack set made by hobbyist Didi Hornberger. It certainly caught the eye off many Carrick fans when we featured this lot on the Breyer Blog a few months ago.
The full set of Surprise models is always one of our most popular Silent Auction lots and this year was no exception! The full set of Dark Horse Surprise models went for a staggering $4,050. With the added surprise of a fifth color option in addition to the usual glossy/matte split, this year there were actually 10 different models. The lucky winner of this lot walked away with a full set of five glossy models.
The test model for the Dark Horse Surprise decorator finish was another strong lot raising $4,600 for our Breyer Beneficiaries. It looked a little bit different than the final version of the Dark Horse Surprise decorator model but it was still a big hit with BreyerFest attendees.
Another popular lot is the Design Your Own Breyer Model, which was back again this year. We’ll have to wait and see what the lucky winner designs but in the mean time we can let you know that this lot sold for $4,500.
We raised over $25,000 for our BreyerFest Beneficiaries in addition to the $76,000 we raised with the Live Auction. We really couldn’t do this without our fans and we know our Beneficiaries are very grateful for all of our support!
