We caught up with BreyerFest: Prost! Celebration Horse Nikolas and his barn buddy Avatar’s Jazzman, who are spending their winter in sunny Florida! While this pair is not competing at one of the largest dressage venues in the world, they have been preparing to take center stage at a popular equine charity event supporting breast cancer!

Nikolas and Avatar’s Jazzman are part of Team Biostar’s quadrille. These super ponies will be two of six horses performing in a choreographed musical freestyle at The Challenge of Americas charity event in Wellington, Florida on March 11, 2022. Avatar’s Jazzman has participated in the quadrille event before, but this will be Niko’s first time! Practicing since January, it has become rider Lauren Chumley’s highlight of the Florida season.  We just know these two Breyer stars will shine!

The Challenge of the Americas, known throughout the equestrian world for its spectacular performances on horseback, returns March 11, 2022, to continue its fight against breast cancer. This annual fundraiser is a one-of-a-kind affaire that highlights the equestrian sports of Dressage and Showjumping. The Challenge of the Americas, having evolved over the past 20 years from an afternoon dressage exhibition/luncheon in 2002, has grown into an under-the-lights international equestrian extravaganza and Gala. Its success and continued growth is due to its partnership in the fight against breast cancer, as well as its unique and highly entertaining format that includes not only the excitement of showjumping but the elegance of the musical freestyle quadrille forever to be recognized as "dancing for women around the world”.
