BreyerFest offers guests so much to see and do, above and beyond buying models. All in-person BreyerFest tickets give guests access to the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park all three days of BreyerFest weekend, so guests are encouraged to take advantage of all the inclusions – including admission to the KHP’s amazing facilities, like the International Museum of the Horse and the American Saddlebred Museum.
As well, all in-person ticket holders have access to the following FREE activities all weekend long:
With all these amazing free activities, it’s a breeze to fill a whole day at BreyerFest without spending a penny!
9:00 am – BreyerFest gates open. Skip the line for the BreyerFest store and head right to one of the TWO craft tents to paint your Stablemate before it’s too crowded (or too humid)!
9:30 am – While you’re in the craft tent waiting for your model to dry, why not check out the magic show or get your face painted? Our friends from Cincinnati Circus are there to help!
10:00 am – Before the day gets too hot, take a stroll through Celebration Park. Just across the bridge from the Collector Club Tent is a whole world of free activities! Stop and play with the Big Dig at our Dino Dig area to see if you can find anything in the sand pit! Kids 9 and under can compete in the Kids Jump Off until noon! Sign up and test your agility and speed through a course of miniature horse jumps. After that, hang out with some real horses and take a pony ride.
11:00 am – Test your strength and skills at our games area, hosted by our friends at Cincinnati Circus! Try out the hi-striker, ring toss, and fat cats!
Noon – While you’re in Celebration Park, why not grab a bite to eat from one of our food vendors and sit in the shade of our beer garden tent listening to some fun German music! Getting lunch won’t be free, but it’s free to sit in the shade and relax!
1:00 pm – If you need a longer break from the sun, head on down to the Visitor Center to take in one of our FREE seminars (or films, depending on the day – see the schedule in the program for details).
2:00 pm – Head back on up to the Covered Arena to check out the live horse demos. We’ve got more than 200 live horses here at BreyerFest that represent dozens of breeds and disciplines. There is something for everyone!
2:30 pm – speaking of those horses, it’s time to head on up to the stables to meet some of them! All the stalls are open to the public, and owners, riders, trainers, and grooms are on-hand to talk to you about these amazing animals. If you missed an autograph session, owners are glad to sign your models right at the stalls, as well as take photos! This year’s event also features select guest horses from 2020’s BreyerFest: Celtic Fling and 2021’s BreyerFest: Horse of a Different Color celebrations!
3:30 pm – If you didn’t get a chance to take one of our amazing workshops this year at BreyerFest, stopping at the Hobby Center is the next best thing! Here, a collection of amazingly talented painters, sculptors, tack-makers, and more cycle through during the weekend ready to talk to you about their work. They also have printed information they can provide you so that you can fine-tune your hobby work at home! Also on display in this tent are the Diorama Contest entries, so be sure you check them out before the end of the day on Saturday!
4:30 pm – time flies when you’re having fun! It’s nearly the end of the day at BreyerFest. If you’ve got evening show tickets, head to any Shuttle Stop to grab a KHP Loop shuttle to the Alltech Arena. Doors to the arena open at 5, giving you plenty of time to grab a bite to eat and sit and relax in the AC before the show starts.
Whew! What a busy day!

This will be our first time at Breyerfest. It will be my Granddaughter, her friend and myself attending. I live less than an hour away from Kentucky Horse Park, so we get to go home every night. I’m one of the lucky ones! Plus, it is my Granddaughter’s 9th birthday on the 17th. We are so excited, can’t wait until 7/16..
