Free Activities at BreyerFest

Everyone already knows about all the shopping that can be had at BreyerFest, from the BreyerFest stores, to the Special Run line, even to the Clarion, but did you know that there are also a TON of activities that BreyerFest guests can participate in on-site that are absolutely free?  We’ve mentioned some of these before, but in case you missed it, here is some of what BreyerFest has to offer fans – absolutely for free!

Stablemates & Pin Painting

Design and paint your very own miniature Breyer model horse or Breyer enamel pin in our craft tent, located in the Annex Ring!  Limit one per person – per day.

BreyerFest Equine Extravaganza Arena Show

See the BreyerFest Guest Horses perform alongside dozens of all-breed acts all day long in the Covered Arena! From this year’s Celebration Horse, Bravour 54, to local demo groups and drill teams, this show has it all!

Seminars & Film Series

Located in the delightfully air-conditioned Visitors Information Center, take a break from the heat and sit in on one of the weekend’s many free seminars. From Driving Turnout to Zebras & Hybrids there is something for everyone! On Sunday, the VIC will house screenings of a multitude of horse films provided by the Equus Film and Arts Festival!

Hobby Center

Model Horse Hobby experts are on hand to demonstrate and answer questions on everything from tack making to customization. There is always something to learn about the model horse hobby here!  While you’re here, you can also check out this year’s Diorama Contest entries!

Autographs with Guest Horses

Meet the real horses that inspire our models!  From this year’s beautiful Celebration Horse, Bravour 54, to the horses that inspired this year’s Limited Edition Traditional models, and even some of the real horses that inspired the models from our regular line, you can meet all of them all weekend long at BreyerFest. 

Celebration Park - Jam packed with activities for kids and adults! Located just across the bridge between the Hands-on Hobby Tent and the Collector Club tent.

Kids Jump Off

A kid’s jumping competition that uses miniature horse jumps. Open to all kids 16 and under, competitors will be judged based on the fastest times and fewest faults. Each age group will compete at a different time, kids 9 & under start daily at 9:45 am; kids 10-12 starts at 12:45 pm on Friday & Saturday, 12:00 pm on Sunday; kids 13-16 starts at 2:30 pm on Friday & Saturday, 2:00 pm on Sunday.

Dock Dogs

Making their BreyerFest debut, these incredible dogs are sure to make a splash! Competing daily, these pups will show off their amazing skills.

Pony Rides

For our younger Breyer fans, kids can enjoy free pony rides! Please note that there is a weight limit of 60 lbs.

Petting Zoo

Not just horses at BreyerFest – stop by the petting zoo to say hi to goats, sheep, and camels!

OHHR Experience

The Ohio Harness Horseman’s Association is hosting this incredible hands-on experience. Complete with a “bone box” where kids can dig for and identify replica equine bones; a bandaging station to learn how to apply bandages on plastic horse legs; and a racebike complete with driving silks to try on!

Big Fun Circus

Performers will be dazzling guests with their amazing skills in Celebration Park! Be wowed by their jugglers, test your hula hooping skills, see a funny clown show, or get your face painted!

Big Dig Sandpit

Test out the Big Dig in our fun, shaded sand pit!

Cars andCoffee

The Lexington, KY Cars and Coffee group will be joining us on Saturday, July 15^th from 9 AM to 5 PM in Celebration Park. This group gathers every month to show off their pride and joy in cars - bringing car people of all stripes together to share their passion for automobiles.
