Each year at BreyerFest, we are thrilled to be able to host first-time sellers as a part of our Marketplace.  Our next featured seller started attending BreyerFest in 2019 and is looking forward to being a part of the Marketplace for the first time this summer.  Inspired by the hobby horse craze popularized in Finland, where competitors race through a series of miniature horse jumps while “riding” a toy stick horse, this Chicago-based seller is looking forward to bringing her creations to BreyerFest fans this summer!

Meet Flying High Hobby Horses!

Mica, the creative brain behind these adorable Hobby Horses, loves the excitement and creativity of the model horse hobby.  First introduced to the stick horse races in Finland by her mom, Mica fell in love with the idea of stick horse racing and recalls watching video after video of the sport online.  Creating hobby horses became Mica’s passion and her love of horses grows each time she learns something new about them.

In addition to her love of hobby horses, Mica loves her model horse collection and is inspired by the different breeds, molds, and colors and enjoys photographing and showing them.
