What would BreyerFest weekend be without the fun and excitement of model horse showing?
We are thrilled to announce that this summer BreyerFest will be hosting both an Open Model Horse Photo Show and the new Children’s/Youth/Adult Novice (CYAN) Model Horse Photo Show on PonyBytes.com, an online platform made exclusively for model horse photo shows.
Showers who participated in the recent Breyer Boot Camp model horse photo shows will be familiar with this platform, but for those that are new, it is user friendly and intuitive! PonyBytes.com allows showers to upload images to their personal galleries from a smartphone or computer, attach appropriate documentation, and easily move images from your gallery to the show classes – you can even run reports to make sure you’ve loaded everything correctly. As well, Pony Bytes admin staff are available to assist you if you’ve got questions.
This summer’s Open Model Horse photo show is open to VIP and All-Access ticket holders that are over 13 and have participated in model horse shows before. If you’re an adult and new to showing, the CYAN show is the place for you! The Open Show is being hosted once again by the incredible Michelle Masters and winners will receive flats, rosettes, and fun prizes from Breyer!
New for this year, we’ve expanded the traditional Youth and Children’s show to include an Adult Novice category, so teens that were worried about “aging out” of the youth show or adults that are new to the world of model horse showing have a division all their own! Hosting the CYAN show will be the amazing duo of Eleanor Harvey and Kim Bjorgo-Thorne and winners in each division will receive flats, rosettes, and fun prizes from Breyer!
All VIP and All-Access ticket holders will be able to participate and more information about both of these shows, including entry information, will be posted soon on BreyerHorses.com, but we couldn’t wait to tell everyone the good news!
If you think you might register for either show and did not participate in the recent Breyer Boot Camp photo shows, now is a great time to get yourself set up on PonyBytes.com by creating an account, familiarizing yourself with the site’s functionality, and practicing loading a couple photos to your personal galleries. There is a ton of helpful information HERE to get you started and answer your questions.

Is this show open to “all” VIP/All-Access ticket holders, or only “residents of the U.S.” VIP/All-Access ticket holders?

I’ve been reading the info on the PonyBytes site, and it seems that shows can only have 1st through 5th places for each class. So does this mean that the Breyerfest show will only be 1st through 5th place? Instead of the 1st through 10th place it used to be?

Hi Sheri – PonyBytes works fully from a mobile device like your iPad as well as on a computer! If you need help with anything on mobile, you can reach out to the site admins and someone can help you! I use my iPhone for all my photo show photos and I had no problem using PonyBytes.

“All VIP and All-Access ticket holders will be able to participate” <— is this including those in states that Breyer said can’t participate in contests with prizes like the diorama & customs contest? Or is it “All” with an asterisk?

I’ve shown live at Breakables and judged the Childrens Show…..but as Emma asked, are some states not going to be allowed to show similar to the contests?
