The discussion of various ticket types and their access to different collections of models brings up the question “what special models can I buy at BreyerFest?” It’s true, BreyerFest has a LOT of special product but it is broken down into a four simple different “collections” or categories. The regular line product that is always available on BreyerHorses.com will also be available for purchase and these items can be added to your cart at any time.
What exclusive models are available for sale at BreyerFest?
Store Specials are a collection of limited editions that would have normally been available to all ticket holders (3-Day and Single-Day) in the Breyer Store. These 2020 models, Benelli, Cheesecake, and WH Topgun, will have inventory released several times throughout the weekend. As we would have onsite, models will be made available each morning, but this year we are also releasing inventory throughout each day of the weekend to accommodate different time zones.
Throughout the Breyer Store onsite you would have found some Warehouse Finds (aka the NPOD), these are models we have collected throughout the year from our warehouse and Archive Room. They are generally samples or found inventory of models no longer in production. Some are sold in bubble wrap and others are pristine in packaging. For 2020, we are offering these items as Grab Bags with inventory to be released periodically throughout the weekend. Boxes will be curated to various price points, $50, $75, $100, $150, etc. Some may have 1 or 2 models, others may have 4, but collectively they will meet a minimum market value for that box. A limited number of each price point will be available. Due to their limited nature these will be limited to one per account (one purchase for the weekend) for those who purchased an Adult 3-Day ticket as an additional Bonus Benefit!
The Fling! Shopswere our souvenir shops onsite at BreyerFest. These areas would normally have carried our swag and our limited edition event themed models – Greenman, MacKenzie (our plush), and 3 other items we are going to announce soon! These items are (and have always been) available to all ticket holders – 3-Day and Single-Day.
Our Special Run models, Boudicca, Hamish, the Sláinte Surprise, Ash, Brighid & Beltane, Oak, Epona, Thorn, and Lugh – are exclusively available to our Adult and Child 3-day ticket holders. Celebration 3-Day ticket holders do not have access to this collection.
For a full explanation of each model category, take a look at pages 6-7 in the Guide to BreyerFest. This document was created to help explain the many complexities of this event. The Guide was developed for our onsite event format, but the general information on the models still applies!
How do I shop these collections?
Store Specials and Fling! Shop models have always been available to all BreyerFest guests, Single- or 3-Day ticket holders. Guests were limited to 1 per person as you go through the store. This will be the same case online. All ticket holders can purchase 1 of each of the Store Specials and Fling Shop models on each of their store visits. Store visits will be limited based on the number of tickets purchased, 1 visit per ticket per day.
It is our goal to simplify the shopping experience online as much as possible. Bringing BreyerFest to a virtual format mid-way through the year has been a herculean task but we are confident with the plans we have in place. We hope you are looking forward to VBF as much as we are!

RE: NPOD – “limited to one per account (one purchase for the weekend) for those who purchased an Adult 3-Day ticket” — what if you’ve purchased 2 or more tickets on one account? Is it still just one grab bag per account, or one for each ticket?

To clarify my question about the single day 4-packs: Breyer has indicated that single day tickets only allow access on the specific day the ticket is good for (i.e. a Friday ticket only allows access on Friday, not the whole weekend). How will the 4-packs be allotted access to the goodies? Will they be good all weekend (doesn’t seem fair to the other single day ticket holders)? Or will Breyer assign a specific day for each 4-pack purchased?

I’m wondering, for the pop up shop collection…Say you want 3 models from the pop up tent:
A) If you visit the shop say, in the morning, and only one of the models you want is available, are you able to check out with that one model and check back in another time of day to see if the other two become available again possible checking out with a different model later in the day?
B) If you visit the shop and none are available and you don’t purchase anything, are you able to check again later in the day and purchase if they get restocked?
Basically, in other words, is our access truly limited to one visit regardless of what we do in that visit?
OR is it just limited to one of each model and you can check to see what’s available multiple times a day (resulting in possibly multiple checkouts per day to try and get all that we want within the per model limits)?

Single day ticket holders have access to regular store specials and fling! shop. There is no special perk for buying the 4 pack . Only thing you don’t get are the “tent” Special Runs that come with the Adult 3 day. Those were the ones you needed the special tickets for.

Folks.. if you read, NPOD are grab bags .. at certain price points. Grab bags are always BLIND bags .. you never know what’s going to be inside.. could be something great or just overstock …. the idea of a grab bag is that you won’t know what’s inside. That’s the meaning of a grab bag. This is the way it should be even at the NPOD… make it fair for everyone and stop the standing in line for 24 hours before.

Aw man, those grab bags sound awesome. ☹️ I was really looking forward to that kind of stuff. Too bad I only bought kids tickets. Maybe I can get some of those goodies second hand.
