We revisited some of our Celebration Horses from the early days in our post earlier this week so let’s continue our walk down memory lane today.
We couldn’t think of a better horse for our Stars & Stripes celebration in 2007 than Rugged Painted Lark who was joined by her legendary trainer Lynn Palm. In 2008 we moved around the world with BreyerFest’s Global Gallop and hosted the iconic Alborozo as our Celebration Horse (you might remember him from our Live Auction posts the other week!).
BreyerFest went to Hollywood in 2010 with All Glory (a world champion roadster) owned by the legendary Elizabeth and William Shatner.
BreyerFest 2013 brought the glam with Smart & Shiney! Lyle Lovett’s Palomino Reiner fit in perfectly with our theme and made his grandpa, Shining Spark, proud.
We had another Hollywood horse at our Silver Jubilee in 2014 with Gooitzen fan Teakseyl who was presented by the incomparable Carson Cressley.
BreyerFest has visited Britain and France and we continued our tour around the world when we visited Brazil in 2016 when we created a new mold for our Celebration Horse, Imperador das Aguas JM. The Mangalarga Marchador mold has been in the vault for a few years so keep an eye out for its long-awaited release soon!
Our global travels continued in 2017 when we turned to the sights and sounds of India for our BreyerFest inspiration. Celebration Horse Nazruddin was the star of the show!
In 2018, Brass Hat was our Off to the Races Celebration Horse, leading the pack as we celebrated horse racing across all different disciplines.
As you might have seen on the BreyerFest Blog earlier in the week we have unveiled our 2019 Celebration Horse, Oliver. You can read more about him here.
