We saw yesterday, after we released the updated information for the Special Run process at this year’s Virtual Celtic Fling, that folks had some questions about what that means for people with multiple Special Run Tickets.
To clarify a little further, there will be two ways to submit your preferences for BreyerFest Special Runs. All 3-Day ticket holders will receive an email in early June with a link to the preferences submission page. Please understand we cannot exactly replicate the onsite shopping experience. We are making every effort to maintain the feel of the Special Run line and allow guests to have input into the model selection process. It is not possible to maintain proper inventory and fairness without assigning models in advance.
Preference Submission Option 1 – “Master List”
If you have multiple tickets for either the same timeslot or a variety of time slots over the weekend, you are welcome to submit one list of your overall preference of models regardless of how many tickets you have purchased. This option will go down your list and select the highest-ranked model available for each of your ticket times. If you are selected for preference #1 and #2 on your first timeslot, the next two available options will be selected for your next timeslot. You may still receive a duplicate model (your highest-available previously-received preference) if none of your remaining preference are available during that time slot. It is not guaranteed that you will receive one of each of the Special Runs.
Preference Submission Option 2 – “Preference by ticket”
If there are multiple people in your household with Special Run tickets for either the same timeslot or different times across the weekend, you may chose to submit a list of preference for each ticket. This would be a good option for families/groups who each have their own favorite and may want multiples of the same horse. The highest ranked available models will be selected for each ticket time and one’s ticket preferences will not be affected by the other. As with the in-person line, it is still not guaranteed that your top preferences will be available for you to purchase.
