Happy Friday, readers!
Our wine and painting workshop last summer was such a blast that we’ve decided to offer two options this summer!
Each will be offered on Friday, July 10th at 3 pm, so you unfortunately can’t register for both, but each will offer a similar fun experience for guests – with wine!
Laura Thomson is back with her Pinots & Pintos Painting workshop, which will provide guests with a prepped canvas ready to paint! Laura will guide participants through the process of painting their canvasses while sipping wine and having fun. This is a great way to socialize, make new friends, and wind down after a long day at the Kentucky Horse Park.
In addition, Darian Buckles and Bonnie Robb, two long-time instructors, are excited to be offering their brand new workshop Pinots & Painted Ponies: a scaled-down version of the painted horse sculptures that can be found around the city of Lexington. Participants will each receive a prepped Freedom Series-scale (1:12) model to paint in a decorator style under the guidance of these talented ladies.

The registration fee for these workshops includes one drink ticket per guest, but the KHP will offer a cash bar to registered workshop participants as well. All participants must check in with BreyerFest Workshops staff to receive their drink ticket and wristband. Registration for this workshop is restricted to participants 21 and older and IDs will be checked. Register here!
Cheers!

I’m guessing kids can’t participate in this one?

Please consider a Bourbon tasting option as well! Kentucky Horse Park is now an official stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail

Sounds like fun! And, if the photo of the horse’s back is the the prepped canvas, I already have an idea of what I’d paint in!
