You’ve already met our first two Store Specials, Zipped in Black Magic and Rico, but we had to add this horse to the line-up because his story was so incredible.
Meet Hal!
A 1997 Quarter Horse, Hal came to owner and trainer Jonathan Field at age 3 with aggression issues. The pair spent time learning to trust and communicate with each other and an amazing partnership between the two began. For many years, Hal accompanied Jonathan and performed at expos and events. Now semi-retired, he’s enjoying life on Jonathan’s ranch in Canada.
You can meet the amazing Hal and learn more about his relationship with Jonathan at BreyerFest – this horse is a true hero and was an integral part Jonathan’s horsemanship journey after a freak accident nearly caused the loss of his hand.

Is it possible for this model to become a regular run? Or at least a limited run in Canada? Jonathan Field is a huge superstar in the horse industry up here in Canada, especially Western Canada, and there are many, many people who would love to have a Hal model. He is a very special horse to so many of Jonathan’s students and fans. You would definitely get a lot of sales!
