We’ve had a VERY exciting couple of weeks here on the BreyerFest Blog – our personal favorite has been the rapid-fire release of all of this year’s Special Run models, which concluded this afternoon LIVE on the BreyerFest – Official Group on Facebook. (We also did the reveal right here on the BreyerFest Blog, so not to worry if you’re not on Facebook!) We are so excited to be bringing you this incredible collection of model horses for this summer’s Horse of a Different Color celebration! We’ve got more model reveals coming your way tomorrow, so don’t stray far!
We’ve also thrown a TON of new information at you in the last couple weeks about changes we've made to BreyerFest, from the structure of the tickets, to the names of the model categories, to what’s included with each ticket type. With tickets going on sale on soon, so we wanted to take a few minutes to recap what we’ve covered in the last two weeks.
New Ticket Structure

Please note that the purchase of four (4) General Admission tickets does not guarantee you will receive a complete set of Event Stablemates models.
Ticket Inclusions
We have detailed information about what’s included with each type of BreyerFest ticket here. The biggest change is that, for the first time, our VIP All-Access ticket holders will be able to pre-select and pre-purchase their Special Run models and a selection of Limited Edition models prior to BreyerFest weekend, thus guaranteeing their selection.

We know many fans are excited about the new VIP option and we are thrilled to finally answer your questions about this new ticket. As we’ve mentioned, only a limited number of VIP tickets will be available for 2021’s celebration of “Horse of a Different Color” and to make sure that we are able to offer this opportunity to as many fans as possible, we will be offering this ticket option to guests via a drawingand selected accounts will be able to purchase one VIP ticket.
The entry period will begin on Friday, January 15th and be open through Monday, January 18th. Check your email Friday for information on how to enter!
BreyerFest VIP All-Access tickets will be $230 per ticket and include the following:
In addition, BreyerFest VIP All-Access ticket holders will pre-select and pre-purchase two of this year’s stunning Special Run Models and two of this year’s incredible Limited Edition models at the time of their ticket purchase, guaranteeing their selection. These models have an additional cost and your total ticket price will be adjusted after you select your models and will be reflected in your cart when you proceed to the checkout. Special Run Models, Limited Editions, and Set of Event Stablemates will not ship until BreyerFest weekend.

Patience is a virtue folks. Breyer will do reveals as they deem necessary. There are actually 1000 VIP tickets, NOT 800. It hasn’t been announced how the others will be disseminated. And yes you have to ENTER a drawing for the chance to buy a VIP ticket, the most “FAIR” way of doing it .. since everyone wants one. BTW, nothing is unlimited.

I did see on the Breyer site under breyerfest that you can enter there.
Regular all access tickets are $75. I think they go on sale beginning of Feb.

I got the email, to answer everyone’s questions as best I can…
Erin Orzech: There will be a draw for the first 800 tickets, you can enter on the Breyer Website between the 15th and the 18th. After the draw, any unclaimed tickets plus the 200 that were held back will be sold first come first served.
Tamara Jones: VIP tickets will be $230, they haven’t released the prices for the other types of tickets but I presume all access ticket will be roughly in the region of $80-100 (the normal Breyerfest ticket price)
Ludivin: Oui, c’est possible est il y avait beaucoup d’étrangers l’année dernière. Le cout de livraison est de $25 (fixe), mais il faudrait aussi payer les impôts sur vos achats. Les concours sont aussi interdits aux étrangers.
Hana: Yes, shipping is $10 (HI/AK/Canada) or $25 (rest of the world). Just make allowances for import duty etc….
Joan Cook: VIP includes free domestic shipping, international shipping is as above.
Emmy: Entry for the draw starts on the 15th, there have been no announcements about the other tickets yet.
Doowiki: They will cost the list price – they mean that their cost is in addition to the ticket price (so you could expect to pay just over $500 for the ticket, 2 SRs and 2 LEs)
Eric Wilson: There is normal NJ sales tax (6.625%). If you’re international, you know what you’ll have to pay on import duty on top of this. You can’t get 8 SRs and 8LEs: you can prepurchase 2 SRs and 2 LEs with 1 VIP ticket, and may be able to buy more LEs during Breyerfest. They’ve indicated that each account can only get 1 VIP ticket at most.
Deanna: There is no draw for the normal All-Access ticket, it will probably sell out eventually but not immediately. It’s usually around $80-100.

I understand the rules for the VIP tickets , for the special runs . How about the store specials , we only know the 1 that was just posted today on the Bristol model the brindle mare . How are we to chose 2 of the models when the others are not known yet ?

Is there any way we could do a layaway or time payments for the models, if we are chosen for the VIP tickets? Please clarify the sentence on the VIP tickets SR and LE purchases, “These models have an additional cost.” Do you mean that a $60 SR will be added to the VIP ticket cost…OR…because of the early access privilege the same model may cost more, like $65 or $70?

I am an avid follower and know that you cannot make everyone happy. I generally keep my thoughts to myself, with that in mind. That said a lottery is VERY disappointing from a lover of Breyer. It takes away all human agency. I’m sure you have your reasons as a company but after all this build it seems limiting as a company to restrict your sales on what I’m sure is a profitable ticket sales. I can only imagine how many very disappointed people you will leave with this announcement.

Umm Is there any way You can just buy the vip ticket and not have to pre-pay for the special runs and limited editions Because whenever you preselect the ticket price goes way up and I would like to get just the ticket if I buy it?
