After a very popular couple of years the BreyerFest Best Customs Contest will be back at the Artisans’ Gallery again! How could we not bring the contest back after all of the amazing entries from last year?!
The finalists and their entries are always a popular addition to the Artisans’ Gallery and we’re already counting down the days until we can see all of the amazing models!
To enter you need to submit a picture of your custom creation to firstname.lastname@example.org for initial judging no later Thursday, June 13th, 2019, 11:59 pm EST. No late entries allowed! The three finalists for each division will be notified on/about July 1, 2019 and will be responsible for getting their model to BreyerFest Salute to Horse Heroes to be displayed at the Artisans’ Gallery on Friday and Saturday nights. The top 3 custom finalists in each division will be showcased in the Artisans' Gallery for final judging.
There are five different divisions including this year’s theme class ‘’Great Hair Day!’’ It’s the perfect chance to give your favorite model a new ‘do! From exquisite hunter braids, to perfectly plaited drafters; long and silky Friesians, or windblown mustangs; use your skill to transform their look. The other divisions are listed below.
• Excellence in Finish Work
• Most Extreme Custom
• Best Custom for Performance Excellence (shown with Tack and Rider)
• Theme Class - “Great Hair Day!”
Prizes include a Special Edition BreyerFest Best Customs Traditional Model for the first place winner of each division and Special Edition Stablemates Best Customs Models for the second and third place winners of each division. The winners and our finalists will receive a special Rosette as well.
