Our last few features have been of sellers that are relatively new to BreyerFest, but this week we are proud to feature the creative mind that has been selling beautiful model horse tack at BreyerFest since 2005.

Meet Jaapi Tack!

Jody, the maker behind the tack, first attended BreyerFest in 2003, an event that she learned about from friends in the hobby who had attended.  In 2005, she began selling her tack from her room in the Clarion and for this summer’s Horse of a Different Color event, we are thrilled she’s joined the BreyerFest Marketplace.

Jody got her tack-making start as a little girl, when she made tack for her friend’s model horses. Turning this hobby into a business seemed like a logical next step as she grew into an adult, and she loves to be able to offer her customers something special for their horses.

From her workshop in Georgia, she has enjoyed making beautiful model horse tack, custom fit to various molds, that is designed to never break, maintain function, and stay beautiful.  She loves all the new molds and colors that models come in and finds that her work is influences by this variety.  Jody says she loves the variety and colors she’s able to over buyers, with unmatched quality and durability. 

This summer at BreyerFest, Jody will be featuring an exclusive halter designed especially for our beautiful Celebration Horse, Dani.  Until then, you can find her work on eBay here!
