Time for a double reveal!
We teased you last week with these clues –
Were you able to guess right? Meet this year’s BreyerFest Best Customs Contest Prizes, Kansas and Willamette!
We’ve been inspired by many aspects of driving for this year’s BreyerFest, from different types of tack and carriages, to bits of driving history and more. For today’s reveal, the Events Team’s resident elder millennials Jaime and Kat wanted to highlight a bit of their own driving nostalgia – Oregon Trail!
One of the starting points of the real Oregon Trail was Kansas City, Missouri (the other was Independence, Missouri) and while the trail brought travelers to several destinations in the state of Oregon, most were in the stunning Willamette Valley, nestled between the Cascade Mountain range to the east and the Oregon Coast Mountain Range to the west.

Ten also extremely talented Best Customs Contest finalists will each be awarded Willamette, done Tabatha Pack’s adorable Galloping Arabian Stallion Stablemate, mold #5733, done as a flashy chestnut version of Darley’s sabino pinto pattern.
