Meet – Breyer Value Guide!

Tricia, the brains behind the Breyer Value Guide, has been attending BreyerFest since 2003 and congas the Clydesdale Mare mold.  Those keeping track might remember that 2003’s Celebration Horse was Gladwin’s Lucky Grey Lady, on the Clydesdale Mare, which inspired Tricia’s first visit to BreyerFest.  She has attended every year since and can often be found amongst the Clarion room sales.  She launched BreyerValueGuide.com in 2016 to assist collectors in valuing their models.

Tricia is originally from Pennsylvania, but calls Michigan home now, and it’s from this home base that she developed the Breyer Value Guide to answer the eternally-burning question – how much is my model worth?  This subscription service in an incredible resource for anyone who buys or sells model horses.  Tricia loves to keep track of the waxing and waning of the model horse market and is fascinated by “which ‘unpopular’ models of today will become the ‘holy grails’ of tomorrow.”  She finds great joy in the speculation and observation, which has been made exponentially easier over the years thanks to the growth of social media.

Though Tricia has never owned a real horse (she prefers the minimal maintenance of models), she’s had a lifelong love of horses and attended horse camp growing up.  She is looking forward to getting back into showing her models and judging live shows – she misses the camaraderie of hanging out with her hobby friends!
