Each year, BreyerFest hosts a variety of retail partners as a part of our Vendor Marketplace – some of those sellers have been participating in the event for as long as we can remember and some are brand new to BreyerFest. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to one of those brand new vendors who can’t wait to share her work with you this summer through our virtual Marketplace when BreyerFest: Horse of a Different Color comes to life in July.
Meet: Made by R and R.
Based out of Orange County, California, Samantha’s journey started when she was looking to have cushions made for her outdoor patio furniture. Not to be daunted by this small challenge, she borrowed her sister’s sewing machine and began her sewing adventure! She has since expanded to embroidery, sublimation, and a recent foray into laser cutting and loves how the possibilities of her creativity seem endless. Inspired by her family, she credits her children with keeping her up to date on trends and says her husband is her number one cheerleader.
Samantha has always loved horses and took lessons when she was younger. Her daughter has inherited this love and started collecting Breyer models last year. Together, they sew blankets for their models and build miniatures to outfit their carpet herd. Though her first BreyerFest was 2020’s Celtic Fling, Samantha’s passion was flamed and she looks forward to participating as a seller this summer and bringing her creations to thousands of Breyer fans, just like herself.
Made By R and R is most excited to be showcasing her DIY paint kits, which include instructions, paints, brushes, and glue – everything you need to complete your project. “The possibilities are endless for customization,” she says.
Made By R and R can be found online here and will be listed among this summer’s BreyerFest Marketplace sellers during our virtual celebration of Horse of a Different Color.
