Virtual Activities at BreyerFest!

Last week, we talked about the free activities that will be available to all ticket holders at in-person BreyerFest, but today we want to go over all the amazing things that ticket holders who will be joining us virtually have access to!

Live Broadcast – our virtual fans will have the best (air conditioned) seats in the house through our live broadcast from the KHP. BreyerFest Live host, Kimber Goodwin, will be live all weekend long talking about this year’s models, interviewing guest horses, and dropping in on locations throughout the KHP to catch up with volunteers and fans. Virtual fans will feel like they are at the center of all the action from the comfort of their homes!

Workshops – this year, virtual fans will be able to access TEN pre-recorded workshops that cover all kinds of topics and range in difficulty from budding artist to expert craftsperson. Hosted by some of the hobby’s most talented and popular artists, these workshops will be sure to keep you engaged all weekend long. In addition to these workshops, we are also offering three workshops as webinars that will be live streamed direct to your computer from the KHP via videoconference. Through these experiences, you’ll be able to interact with the instructor via a moderator through the video conference’s chat feature, and you’ll be able to follow along with the lesson in real time!  You can learn more about all of this year’s workshop offerings here.

Contests– This year, VIP, All-Access, and Online Traditional Access ticket holders are all able to participate in the fan-favorite Costume Contest. With this year’s theme of Grimm’s Fairy Tales, we can’t wait to see how creative everyone will be. Submission for this contest is exclusively online and you can learn more about it here!

Model Horse Photo Shows– virtual fans have a few ways to participate in model horse photo shows this year!  If you’re an adult that is new to the world of showing your models, then Breyer Boot Camp is the perfect way to get your hooves wet!  This photo show is geared specifically towards new adult showers and will be hosted on our partner platform, Pony Bytes. More information on Breyer Boot Camp can be found here. As well, this year we are offering two photo shows for more unique models – BreyerFest Breakables and The Resin Futurity shows. Breakables is for exclusively china models and Resin Futurity is for resin models. More information about these shows is coming soon and will be available on the Ticket Add-ons page under the Events tab on BreyerHorses.com.

Seminars – we know how much fans love the free seminars offered at BreyerFest and this year will be no different!  Streamed to virtual fans from the Visitor Center theater at the KHP, BreyerFest Seminars will be available to virtual fans from around the globe. (See schedule for details.) On topics ranging from how to show your models to chatting with the incomparable Robin Hutton about the life of Sgt. Reckless, these seminars cover a wide range of topics on the real horse world and the model horse world!

Shopping - Virtual BreyerFest guests will have access to tons of models and event merchandise throughout BreyerFest weekend.  In addition to the regular Breyer product line found on BreyerHorses.com, virtual fans will also have access to the following:

• Limited Edition Models – This model type includes our three Traditional Scale portrait horses (Chardonnay, Montanara, and Chablis), plus the Best of BreyerFest Stablemates set, Lorelei the crystal model, Strudel the plush, Wittlesbach the Stablemates model, and Black Forest the Freedom Series scale model.
• Online Only Limited Editions – This new type of Limited Edition model will ONLY be available online during BreyerFest weekend. For 2022’s celebration of Prost, fans will be able to snag a beautiful Traditional Scale Rhenish Draft horse and the adorable Stablemates decorator model, Torlinie!
• Event Merchandise – while we’re not revealing what will be available just yet, this year’s BreyerFest virtual Store will have a selection of items that are only available online during BreyerFest weekend. Event merchandise includes, but is not limited to, t-shirts, water bottles, commemorative drawstring backpacks, and stickers.
