In case you missed it, we announced last week that 2021’s BreyerFest celebration of “Horse of a Different Color” will be a 100% virtual event, and we can’t wait to bring this incredible weekend of equine-themed entertainment and shopping to life for you.
If you’re new to the world of BreyerFest, or didn’t participate in 2020’s virtual Celtic Fling, we wanted to let you know what this event will look like, since it’s a different experience than being on-site at the Kentucky Horse Park.
BreyerFest weekend will be a mix of live content, streamed on BreyerHorses.com (think of it like a morning news/talk show with a host and guests), plus pre-recorded content – much of which you’ll be able to access at your leisure during the three-day weekend. This pre-recorded content will include workshops, seminars, horse demonstrations from our amazing equine guests, interviews with horse owners, virtual tours, access to amazing films through our partnership with the EQUUS Film & Arts Festival, and many other fun things.
As well, BreyerFest will host model horse photo shows, live (online) model horse showing clinics, live (online) model horse hobby workshops, contests, and of course – shopping! Please know that we are working diligently to address any lingering concerns from 2020, and have a couple of tricks up our sleeves to make sure that your shopping experience is one of joy next summer, and not frustration.
We are working on building the schedule for next year’s event and hope to be able to post more information soon.

HANNAH HENDRICK – take a look at the earlier blog post called “What’s included with my Breyerfest tickets?” All tickets will give you access to the videos, store etc., but you need one of the all-access tickets to buy two special runs. The only added benefit of the VIP ticket is that you can pre-select (and pre-pay for) Special Run and some other models so you are guaranteed your selection, with a normal all-access ticket you may not get your first choice (but you’ll still be able to get something!)

I am concerned, this is my first Breyerfest and I want to know if you do not get the VIP tickets, do you not get models, access to shopping and seeing the horses and where they came from??? Someone help please.

I would like to suggest that VIP purchase people be contacted prior to the event to verify the address. I have no idea where I will be during the day in July. I may be at my normal work site or I may still be working from home and I would prefer to have the packages show up where there is someone to secure them. It took me 6 weeks to get my celebration horses last year (having ordered them in January).

In response to HANA (in Germany):
Breyer will ship internationally (they always do anyway, although it’s not cheap). The way they organised the shipping for Breyerfest last year, was that you paid a flat international shipping rate (depending on location, I think it would have been $25 to Germany) every time you went through the checkout. After Breyerfest was over, you were refunded all but one of the shipping rate charges. So, for example, if you checked out 5 times, you were refunded 4 shipping charges, and ended up only paying one. Hopefully it will remain a flat rate for this year’s event – just remember that you’ll still pay your country’s import taxes on each box over the limit!
Also, to EOWYN:
If you check out the FAQ, they explicitly stay not to do this, they recommend each ticket have it’s own account, they state “If you wish to have two separate people logging in to view the event, it is recommended that you purchase tickets on each account”. The reason is because you log into the event using the account, so if you buy multiple tickets on one account, you can still only log in using one account.

Any chance that we can buy tickets in a group and provide email addresses for the participants? I know that last year, they were on the account purchased by and it would be easier if I could (as usual) purchase mine and my mom’s on my account but give her access through her email.

I am so excited for this. Not only does it allow everyone from all over the world to participate, but it keeps everyone safe. For those wondering about the tickets and the International participation, the information is coming soon, I am certain. I have the feeling that no question will be left unanswered this year. I know, personally, in Road To BreyerFest, we are eagerly awaiting all of the information to be released and during the event this year, we have some awesome plans to get our friends and family pumped for the event!

I think it’d be incredibly amazing if we could see a virtual Clarion aspect to Breyerfest! It’s a huge part of breyerfest and something that was really missed. You should really try it!

My friend attended breyerfest last year online and was very lucky to get Top gun. She tried really hard to get the other special runs, but they sold out immediately because of people using bots. Can you fix it? It’s unfair. I’ll be attending breyerfest this year with my friend and we are really hoping we can get some special runs. Thanks!

I can’t wait until this year’s Breyerfest!
The only thing I’m really hoping to be improved is purchase timing and the cart! I hope that when you add a product to your bag (similar to Special Run time slots) it’s locked in completely until you go to the checkout. I know this was a problem last year, from personal experience, putting things in my cart and them being sold out seconds before I went to check out! This was a huge upset, and I’m hoping that you can lock in items and have a limited time to purchase the locked items (maybe 5-10 minutes so people can not take advantage of this feature and keep items for hours on end in their cart and then purchase later). I really hope that we can lock in products and get a chance to purchase what we want in a better amount of time!

Hi there my name is Lucy this is my first ever breyerfest I am attending this year’s breyerfest in Australia, i had a question about the All-access tickets. When will my ticket come? and also when do I recieve my Dani celebration of the year Model horse? do i get it before or after the three day weekend?
