This workshop is Part 2 to Janine’s “Creating Armatures” workshop from 2021, which will be available for viewing for our 2022 guests. Please review that video prior to starting this one. In this workshop, Janine will explain how to measure and set up proportions for the sculpture, how to use anatomy references, how to decide on a pose, and demonstrate how to block out and smooth the clay to form basic muscle shapes. You will also learn about different types of clays, tools, and safety precautions for sculpting.
