We are excited to introduce you to the new Traditional and Gallery releases in Breyer's 2013 line! We will post as these items become available on Many of these items will be available in early 2013! Click the following links to view the other new 2013 releases: Classics and Stablemates, Activity Sets and Plush

The Marwari is native to India. This exotic breed has distinctive ears which curl inward! The Marwari was bred to for speed and endurance, as they were the treasured mounts of Rajput rulers and warriors.

Ballou, This adorable Welsh Pony is a Hunter Pony Champion! His major wins include: Small Green Pony Hunter Championship at the 2007 United States Equestrian Federation's (USEF) Pony Finals, 2010 Devon Horse Show Grand and Small Pony Hunter Championship, and the Overall Small Pony Hunter Grand Championship at the 2011 USEF Pony Finals!

Gypsy Vanner

The Gypsy Vanner originated in the United Kingdom. Created by the Gypsies, they needed to be strong to pull large wagons in caravans, and kind enough to be around a family's children. The first Gypsy Vanners were imported to the United States in 1996, and today this sturdy and intelligent breed is gaining popularity.

The Lusitano is one of the world's oldest breeds, and is closely related to the Andalusian of Spain. Originating on the Iberian Peninsula, the Lusitano was bred to be a war horse, and their courage and agility made them well-suited to be the mounts of bullfighters. These stunning horses are favored for classical dressage because of their refined and elegant movement.

At age three, Sshameless++, a stunning Arabian, was named the 1995 Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt. Fifteen years later, he returned to Nationals with his new amateur owner Lisa Shover and was named the 2010 Reserve National Champion in Adult Amateur Owner to Handle (AAOTH) Arabian Stallion Halter and Reserve National Champion in Select Western! Sshamless++ and Lisa are the only team to ever win National titles in the performance and halter divisions at the same U.S. National Arabian Horse Show, and Sshameless++ is the oldest Arabian to ever win National titles in performance and halter divisions!

Grullo Pinto

Grullo Pinto. The world of horses is full of brilliant colors and coat patterns in endless combinations! The grullo coat color is in the dun family of colors, and is created when a dun gene dilutes the black gene. An overo pattern means the horse appears to be mostly colored with white markings, which rarely cross the back and are usually located on the horse's side and spread towards the rump or neck.

Two Stall Barn

This beautiful red wood Two-Stall Barn is the perfect home for model horses! This barn has two spacious stalls with functional Dutch doors in the back, and features sliding doors and a removable roof for easy access.

New to Breyer's Gallery, which features beautiful and unique collectibles, is the Equine Art Collection! Inspired by popular works of art from world-renowed artists, the Equine Art Collection lets you bring a masterpiece home! Each sculpture is made of artist's resin and is permanently mounted on a base, which has a descriptive backstamp with a photo of the original work of art that inspired the piece! Each measures approximately 5.75"L x 5"H.

Royal Blood

Royal Blood was inspired by the oil painting Whistejacket, by British artist George Stubbs. Stubbs devoted much time to studying the anatomy of his equine subjects, and gained strong support from members of the aristocracy for his accurate renditions of horses.

A King's Mount

A King's Mount was inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing, Sketch of a Horse.Said to be preliminary sketches for a sculpture which was never completed, Sketch of a Horse shows Da Vinci's incomparable talent at capturing the essence of his subject.

Wild Bronc

Wild Bronc was inspired by Frederic Remington's Turn Him Loose, Bill. This iconic scene of cowboys breaking a wild horse comes to life in this new sculpture! Remington had a great appreciation for the Old West way of life, and his celebrated drawings, sculptures and paintings brought the American West to life.

The lusitano I a nice mold also he also has nice shading and dapples and in real life the brown on his mane and legs is actually a bit lighter brown not as dark as in the photo. I might have to use the Marwari in a performance class, lower-level(second-level) dressage test, performing shoulder-in(in dressage shows, its called shoulder-in to renvers - shoulder in to haunches out)

Well done Breyer. Some really beautiful Traditional models here. Nice colours and I'm glad you're using two of the Premier Club new molds for these regular runs. I know I'll be buying some of these for sure - especially the Malawari, the Vanner and the Lustiano. Just gorgeous.

Salem Says:
12/24/2012 at 9:48 am

Although I have been a malcontent a lot lately, I do want to say thanks for coming out with some models in great colors! I just hope they are all as advertised in the pictures, and readily available to any and all who want them!

sant Says:
12/23/2012 at 9:43 pm

Smoke and Mirrors was a JCP special run, and was NOT availible on Breyer's website, so if you want one, you'll have to get them off of eBay, amazon, and MHSP, etc.
And the horse on the ANNUAL(the only magazine we get a year) Collector Club magazine is Brishen. He was the last horse for the 2012 Premier Collection(the 2013 Premier Club will be availible soon) and was also the first horse on that mold. If you want him you'll have to pay around $200 on eBay or MHSP because you can't join the 2012 Premier Club anymore.

Toby3011 Says:
12/23/2012 at 8:28 pm

I really don't like the barn, wood for me. But everything else I MUST GET!!! I'm looking forword to 2013, thank tou Breyer.

TheStarWarriorHorse Says:
12/23/2012 at 5:03 pm

It's funny because even before Breyer released the news about these new models I thought to myself, "You know, out of all the breeds of horses that Breyer made portraits of, they never did a Marwari. It would be cool to see them make one as it is such a unique breed." About a week latter, lo and behold, they came up with a Marwari! I am DEFINITELY going to put him on my mental wish list! :)

Seto Says:
12/23/2012 at 4:26 pm

Smoke and Mirriors

this is wonderful but What about SMOKE&Mirrors I can't find them on the website but their online /amazon/ebay so question remains why are they not on breyer OFFICAL Website and everywhere else?

pss.....Where /what is that horse on the gypsy vanner mold on the collector club magzine issue for january?

Shelbis Says:
12/23/2012 at 2:57 pm

sant Says:
12/23/2012 at 3:34 am

"Whistlejacket" is a beautiful painting(its my favorite) and I will definately be getting Royal Blood(along with all the others, just not the barn).

12/22/2012 at 3:52 pm

What a lovely selection of new horses! I am especially excited about the Equine Art Collection. I hope this series will continue with more. There is such a huge selection of old art work by the masters. I especially like the Da Vinci "King's Mount".

Boozie Says:

breyerluver Says:

I love the grulla paint and the pony on the Newsworthy mold! I'm concerned with quality and detail. Since the are RR OFs, they won't have Connoisseur detail. I hope they look nice and realistic though!

PinkButterfly Says:
12/21/2012 at 2:51 pm

I am really, really liking A King's Mount!!!

sant Says:
12/21/2012 at 1:30 pm

Yay! They're all affordable! Some of them are only $39.99! I'm getting all, including the gallery horses! I won't be buying that barn though, my aunt is painting the two stall wood barn hunter green with white trim. I can't wait for my birthday in June! I hope they're all out by then!

The breeds of the world are resins, and if you look at the height of them, they're about the same size as Breeds of the World. I love all of them!!

12/21/2012 at 12:24 pm

Oh WOW! So many fabulous new models!!

hinesemerald Says:
12/21/2012 at 11:57 am

Plastic, resin??

Based on the price ($19.99) I'm guessing the gallery items are plastic.

CactusFlower Says:

Breyer Gallery 2013

What are the Breyer Gallery pieces made of? Plastic, resin or Porcelain? I assume porcelain?

Janice Says:
