American Pharoah Will Continue to Race!

The celebration of American Pharaoah's victorious Triple Crown win is seemingly endless, especially since it was confirmed that he will not be retiring just yet. While the horse's well-being will of course come first, American Pharoah's team would like to "enjoy him as long as they can" before retiring him to stud, owner Ahmed Zayat said to the New York Times. American Pharoah's career will likely continue in August, with four possible races: the Jim Dandy in New York; the Haskel Invitational in Monmouth, NJ; the Pacific Classic in Del Mar, CA; or the Travers, in Saratoga.

While the decision to continue racing American Pharoah is a rare one, given his now tremendous value as a stallion, for many fans it offers the opportunity to witness the performance of this heroic athlete before his legend turns to history. For those not fortunate enough to experience one of the Triple Crown Races, the races coming up in August give a second chance.

Here at Breyer, we were lucky enough to hear about the Belmont firsthand, as one of our very own, Chelsea Crozier, attended the race. Here are some photos that Chelsea was able to snap at Belmont on that fateful day!

Breyer should make a American Pharoah mold, but it should be a mold with a little shorter tail, his tail is not very long

American Pharoah Mold

American Pharoah WOULD NOT fit on the secretariet mold or lonesome glory solely because of his short tail. There would have to be a new mold made for him or a remodify of the other molds.

New mold worthy

He needs his own mold! He is truly amazing, winning the triple crown after a 37 year drought!

I think that American Pharoah will look great on the Cigar mold, or lonesome glory maybe

Lonesome Glory Mold

I think he should go on the lonesome glory mold. Maybe adjust his ears and tail a bit to change it up?

How about American Pharoah on the Ruffian or Secretariat mold!!! Fitting since there has been no Triple Crown winners since the "Decade of Champions"!!!

I'd love to see him on Carrick with a shorter tail.

AP's Breyer

I agree that he would make a great model! I would say the Cigar mold with a new tail or the Smarty Jones mold with a new tail would look good!
