Robin is president of Angels Without Wings, Inc., a non-profit that spearheaded the development and dedication of six national monuments to Sgt. Reckless the war horse. Her book, Sgt Reckless: America 's War Horse, was a New York TimesBestseller and she received The Military Order of the Purple Heart for her charitable work. Robin has dedicated her life to researching and celebrating the incredible feats animals and their human counterparts of war had to overcome!
Mel Miller has been painting and customizing Breyer horses, creating original sculptures, and casting resins for over 25 years. She has expertise in oil and acrylic painting, and sculpting in clay, epoxy, and zbrush (a 3D modelling program), so you can pick her brain on a variety of topics! Vincent is an Equine artist, model horse collector and unicorn enthusiast from Germany - currently studying 3D Animation in the United Kingdom. Having discovered the hobby in 2010, he specializes in sculpting, repainting, resin casting and diorama building. His main aim is to express something with his art: Some portray the art of horses, Vincent portrays horses as art.
Rayvin Maddock is a Canadian artist known for her dynamic and soulful work. She joined us live for Breyer Boot Camp and is looking forward to connecting with BreyerFest fans! Rayvin is featured in the 2021 Breyer Premier Club with both the sculpture and glowing sooty palomino Appaloosa color design for Fireheart. In addition to answering fan questions during this live meet & greet, Rayvin is also hosting our live BreyerFest Nametags workshop, has contributed two pre-recorded workshops, and will be participating in the BreyerFest Artisans’ Gallery!

Emmy-winning filmmaker and President of Taurus Productions, Ginger Kathrens, is a writer and cinematographer known for her films about America’s amazing wild horse herds. She joins BreyerFest fans live from her ranch for this incredible behind-the-scenes look and some amazing and colorful horses and can’t wait to answer fan questions!
Anyone familiar with model horses has heard the name Kathleen Moody. The prolific artist has created many models for Breyer Horses. She is known for breaking the “three feet on the ground” rule in creating Huckleberry Bey, who is carefully balanced on only two legs using a minimal disc base. Moody collected as a child and that collection only grew as she got older and started sculpting. Trying to find a Moody horse? Look for wild action and lots of hair!

The Wild Ones / 32 minutes
Impact Pupil Referral Unit, in Bootle, Liverpool, provides a last chance for teenagers expelled from school to gain qualifications. This term, seven pupils get to leave the Unit to try a new way of learning in an unlikely sanctuary for rescued horses, in the heart of this run-down neighborhood. Run by local resident Bernadette Langfield, several wild ponies that she saved from being culled need taming. But these horses, like the pupils have their own troubled backgrounds and in order for a relationship between them to develop, both horses and teenagers have to first deal with their own behavioral difficulties.
The Red Barn A Legacy Of Love / 60 mins
“The Red Barn: A Legacy of Love” is the story of the Red Barn in Leeds, Alabama that provides equine-assisted therapy to people with all sorts of special needs and circumstances. The documentary tells how the Red Barn got its start, from the lady who inspired it to the one who made the dream become a reality. It is also the story of the children and adults whose lives have been changed by coming to the Red Barn, as well as the staff of the Red Barn and the horses themselves, who give so much to benefit others.
