BreyerFest Park Volunteers – 2025
The application period for BreyerFest Hobby Volunteers is closed, but if you missed out on that opportunity we are currently looking for assistance in other areas of BreyerFest.
BreyerFest Volunteers are at the heart of the BreyerFest experience. You are critical to the successful execution of this event. Volunteers have a tremendous responsibility because you are not only responsible for the successful completion of your appointed task(s), but by agreeing to participate, are also actively engaged in public relations for the entire model horse hobby! Breyer is grateful to everyone who works as a Volunteer at BreyerFest and hopes that it is a rewarding experience for you. We could not do it without you!
To ensure that the experience is equally satisfying to all, the following outlines the various policies and guidelines that will be followed in 2025 for our fourth annual hybrid BreyerFest. This policy is specific to volunteers supporting us at the in-person event in Lexington, KY, July 11-13, 2025. Questions should be directed to our BreyerFest Park Volunteer Coordinator, Laura Voll at voll.laura@gmail.com or 608-219-5151.
- Participation and Volunteering
- Volunteers that are actively “on the clock” may NOT participate in BreyerFest events simultaneously. For example, you cannot volunteer for the Store and shop at the same time.
- Volunteers are selected by the BreyerFest Volunteer Coordinator and only pre-selected volunteers will be eligible for volunteer benefits.
- Volunteers will be provided with:
- Event Admission
- One (1) Celebration Model, Tight Lines, for initial 4 hour, shift, one (1) Event Stablemate for each additional shift
- One (1) Volunteer t-shirt that must be worn during your volunteer shift
- One (1) lunch voucher to be used at Kentucky Horse Park concessions
- Behavior and Decorum
- It goes without saying that while representing Breyer; all volunteers are encouraged to act in an appropriate and professional way with clean and tidy attire.
- Park Volunteers are expected to be well-versed in the locations and schedule of the event. Event Programs and specifics will be provided well in advance of the event weekend for review.
- Park Volunteers will be paired with a “Hobby Volunteer” to answer all questions specific to the model horse hobby and model specific questions.
