For this year’s Autumn-inspired National Breyer Fun Day, taking place on Saturday October 14th, we've assembled a collection of amazing artists from all over the US and Canada to guide participants through a series of fun model horse craft projects. Suitable for all ages and abilities, our artists will take you through their project step-by-step. Meet them below!

Lindsay Diamond has been collecting models since her 10th birthday, focusing primarily on OF, along with some customs and resins. Her favorite mold is the Cleveland Bay, she has 36! She started sewing pony pockets 5 years ago for fun. She then started selling them and working with show holders to provide prizes for shows. Pony pockets are a fun and easy sewing project that anyone can do in an afternoon. Lindsay is so excited to share this craft with you!

Laura Skillern Sailer got her start as a model horse artist making custom Breyers over 25 years ago. She started making tack and carts for her Breyers about the same time. Since then, she turned her little side hobby into a professional career, making and selling resins, props, and tack for the hobby. She is a five time winner of the best Customs Contest and sculpted the cantering Stablemates Morgan mold for Breyer.

Elizabeth Reeves is an artist from Washington state. She currently lives and has grown up on a beef cattle farm, working it with her mother and older brother. She has been collecting in the model horse hobby for as long as she can remember, which was around 4 or 5 years old! She started customizing in the middle of the 2020 pandemic as a fun thing to do to pass time in lockdown, and quickly improved and learned lots of new skills!
