Workshops - BreyerFest 2025
Getting There
All in-person BreyerFest workshops will be hosted in the South Expo Hall of the Alltech Arena, unless otherwise noted in their description. Please be sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get to the Alltech Arena so that you are on time for your workshop sessions. There is a family lounge seating area near the classroom spaces that is reserved for parents who have younger children attending. The Alltech Arena is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Covered Arena and the main activities of BreyerFest, so we recommend guests take advantage of our shuttles!
New for 2025
This year, we have added a Thursday morning timeslot on July 10th to expand our workshop offerings to guests. Please note that most of those sessions are duplicate sessions of classes happening Friday through Sunday. You cannot register for duplicate sessions – registration for a class happening on Thursday, for example, prohibits you from registering for the same class happening on Saturday.
Levels are defined as follows:
Beginner – good for a student who has never taken a workshop or is learning a new skill
Intermediate – perfect for the student who has taken a similar BreyerFest workshop or has experience in the subject
Advanced – ideally suited to students who have extensive knowledge of the subject and have taken previous BreyerFest workshops.
Most sessions are rated as being suitable for beginner to advanced students, meaning they are appropriate for all levels of skill.
Please note: schedule and offerings are subject to change.
Registering for Sessions
Buyers are able to register up to four participants in workshops that are open to both VIP and All-Access ticket holders (see note below about VIP-exclusive sessions).
Please be sure that you include the names of each participant you are registering, even if you’re just registering yourself.
If you are registering more than one participant, please be sure to increase the quantity to match the number of participants you are registering. If you include three participant names, but do not adjust the quantity to three to match, only the first person listed will be able to participate in the session if that session sells out before you’re able to purchase the additional spots.
Please note that if you register for a model horse show that is happening Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, you are not able to participate in workshops the day you are showing, as these activities take place at the same time.
VIP Workshops – please note
BreyerFest VIP Ticket holders have exclusive access to this selection of workshops, hosted by a lineup of incredible talents in the model horse hobby. Please note that each of these workshops is hosted on a specific day at a specific time. Limit of two seats per VIP ticket holder per workshop. If you choose to purchase two seats in a VIP session, both participants must have VIP tickets to BreyerFest. Accounts will be checked.
If you plan to participate in the BreyerFest Open Model Horse Show on Thursday July 10th or Friday, July 11th, please be sure to check the schedule to make sure you do not accidentally register with VIP sessions that run concurrently with the show days.
If you plan to participate in the BreyerFest Children’s and Youth Model Horse Shows on Saturday July 12th, please note that you are not able to participate in Seeing Spots! or the 75th Anniversary Clocks workshops as these VIP sessions run concurrently with the show.

You might remember her from her Arabian Halter sessions, but Tiffany is mixing things up with a fun sculpting session! Stablemates will be provided to all students in this class, and Tiffany will teach students how to use Aves Apoxie sculpt to give them a whole new look!
Please note that this session is at the same time as Western Fringed Breastcollars, Creating Kirins, Every Day We SCUTTLING, and Drawing Phish.
Western Fringed Breastcollars
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Join hobbyist Mary Dillon in this beginner-friendly workshop as she walks you through the steps to create this fun and festive Traditional-scale breastcollar set. Mary is known for her incredible fringe and tassels, and we are excited to welcome to BreyerFest for her premier in-person workshop! In addition to creating this fun fringe accessory, participants will also get to modify their very own Breyer saddle with new billets and a matching cinch. A Breyer model and the Cimarron Western Pleasure saddle are included in this session.
Please note that this session is at the same time as Drawing Phish, Every Day We Scuttling, Creating Kirins, and Sculpting Mini Manes & Tails.
