I am going to guess it’s on the Smart Chic Olena mold

Love the name just curious on price. I’m trying to plan way way ahead this year.

Going out on a limb guessing; Galloping Smarty Jones mold ( TB’s were crossed with the drafters for stage coach horses). 2nd choice is the Mule mold ( mule teams were also used to pull the stage coaches way back when). I too think of a stagecoach team of horses either at a full out gallop going across the west; or a team of stagecoach horses waiting patiently for the passengers to board. Still like the idea of a mustang mold being used. I can’t picture a heavy draft team of horses full out galloping cross country in the wild west years. I think they would have broken down to easily. I don’t think they’re legs would have held up. I believe heavy draft horses were used on the wagon trains going west, but most of the time they would be going at a slower pace then the stage coaches.

I am eagerly awaiting Vermeer in full black. Give me my Vermeer Friesian please! Matt Gloss split pretty please?
January 16, 2023
I’d live to see Fireheart or even the Gypsy Vanner as the surprise horse.
January 16, 2023
Yay! I agree with Gale, probably mustang.
January 16, 2023
I was thinking Hamilton for the surprise this year, though I cant seem to figure out if this makes that a lot less likely, or more?
January 16, 2023
Trying to wait patiently!!! Squeeeee! Already loving at least 3.
January 16, 2023
I’m so excited! This will be my first Breyerfest and I’ll be attending online. Maybe next year I’ll be able to afford to come in person. But I’m so happy this is available for online people too!!!!

Latigo would have been perfect for this! Too bad they already used him for the Bollywood surprise. But Black Beauty might be good for a running horse. I think though that Cody is the one they’ll use. He’s sturdy enough to pull a stagecoach, but not too heavy.
January 16, 2023
I’m still hoping it’s a little Chuck wagon like from the old commercial. 😉
January 16, 2023
PLEASE BE HAMILTON
I have been waiting years for Hamilton to be the surprise horse!!
January 16, 2023
I am so excited to see who this is! We love westerns. So excited to be able to get him with online ticket option too. Thank you Breyer!

Since quarter horses pulled a lot of stagecoaches, maybe it’ll be the Geronimo mold? Or whatever mold Latigo Dun It was on? Or it could be Kennebec Count too because morgans pull stagecoaches. Or Marbella.
January 16, 2023
Omg, so exciting!! I read that stagecoach’s, most specifically Wells Fargo Stagecoach was pulled by Belgian-Quarter horse crosses! Morgan’s were often frequently used, as well as shires. Keeps me wondering if we’ll end up with another draft like model, can’t wait!

I am going to go bankrupt this year and the reveals are not even all out! I am thinking this stagecoach horse should be in a full gallop with flowing mane and tail or probrably standing patiently for the next trip. I just bought a really good book Horses in harness by Phillip fox. Sadly alot of these hard working loyal horses did not get a deserving retirement straight to the abattoir!

I’m guessing a horse(s) from the Wild West Days. Stage Coach horses were not the heavy Drafters. Usually four to six medium built horses were used. Color of these horses seemed to be brown, bays and blacks and the horses usually didn’t have a lot of white(chrome) markings. However these stagecoach horses were hardy animals; and had stamina and speed too. Could it be a mustang model or a racing model. Maybe a new model!!!
I’ve been watching a lot of old Western movies lately.

The STAGECOACH SURPRISE!!! I truly wonder now what this might be! I know Breyer did the Rotating Draft surprise last year, so this year it has to be a different mold other then a draft. Sense I looked online a bit to see what popular breeds pulled the stagecoaches the common breed for that was none other then the Quarter Horse! Some Morgan’s also pulled Stagecoaches but Quarterhorses for sure! ONE famous stage coach is the Wells Fargo Stage coach so perhaps we will get a new QuarterHorse mold or something else! Thanks Breyer! Can not wait for the Surprise!!
January 13, 2023
Omg, I was hoping the suprise would be available for online access, I’m so excited!
January 13, 2023
YES. So happy you included online participants for the surprise model!!! My favorite part of last years Breyerfest was the random selection models! I love the anticipation of it all! I really appreciate the ability to participate online. Thank you Breyer.
January 13, 2023

A horsey person

Maybe the working cow mold? That would be awsome, but unlikely. I’m thinking not a heavy horse but something that fits under the old western theme
