Jaime and Kat from the Breyer Events Team had a great couple of days down in Lexington at Equitana USA! It was so fun to be back in the Bluegrass state and it was especially fun getting to see so many familiar faces, finally in person!
Breyer was excited to be hosting Stablemates painting as a part of the Equitana USA kids area, and even though Sunday’s weather was a bit damp, loads of Breyer fans stopped by throughout the weekend to paint their very own Stablemates model – including Sarah Schaaf and Patrick the Mini!
Jaime and Kat also got to spend some time with the KHP Mounted Police and 2019 BreyerFest: Salute to Horse Heroes Celebration Horse, Oliver! He and Captain Rakes were participating in the BraveHearts Trail to Zero ride throughout the park on October 1st, but were gracious enough to take a few minutes to chat during their 21-mile ride around the KHP. You can learn more about the Trail to Zero rides here.
Jaime and Kat also ran into the amazing Harris Sisters, Emily and Sarah, from Sisters Horsing Around! This duo was showcased as a part of this summer’s BreyerFest: Horse of a Different Color, and it was thrilling to finally get to meet them in person, and their beautiful Vanner horse, Genesis!
The last stop for Jaime and Kat was catching up with Lynn Palm and the legendary Rugged Painted Lark, the BreyerFest Stars & Stripes Celebration Horse in 2007, who was retired at Equitana USA over the weekend. This handsome guy is still doing great and we hope he enjoys a nice, relaxing retirement from showing.
A huge thank you to all our Breyer fans who came out to Equitana USA to see us! Keep your eyes on the BreyerFest Blog in the coming weeks!
