Hero’s Welcome Breakdown

The wait is over - the full numbers for the BreyerFest 2019 surprise model, the Hero's Welcome Surprise, have been revealed! This year, we designed six new colorways on this gallant Spanish stallion for our guests to enjoy.

This year’s BreyerFest Surprise Model was on Kathleen Moody’s Andalusian Stallion mold (#584), and we had another hidden surprise amongst the run! We couldn’t celebrate our 30th anniversary without a pearly surprise model, could we?

For our curious fans, here is the full breakdown for you!

Dark Dapple Grey: 1000 Matte, 200 Glossy
Chestnut Pinto: 850 Matte, 200 Glossy
Dappled Pearl: 650 Matte, 200 Glossy
Rose Grey: 520 Matte, 200 Glossy
Decorator: 400 Glossy
Pearly Black Leopard Appaloosa: 30 Matte

Oh Breyer, please double check the numbers on the Deco Surprise, my model is MATTE finish, not glossy at all! Are you sure they weren’t 200 matte and 200 glossy? My matte deco also is mostly frosty silver, with very little green. Are the ones that are more green the glossy ones? Finally, THANK YOU for doing the research on the pearl gene in Andalusians!

I wish I could have gotten one as a souvenir, but there weren’t enough to go around. by the time my number was called, they were gone. was my first Breyer fest, sad to see people selling theirs at the curb for high prices. I still have my ticket, left empty handed. 🙁 please can you make more next time? thanks 💔

So hard to pick a favorite; but I the dapple pearl and rose grey are my top 2 faves! Wish I could’ve gone to Breyerfest; maybe next year.
