Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM is a 21-year-old Section A Welsh Pony Stallion owned by Cindy Bellis-Jones. Kansas has been a crowd favorite at BreyerFest the past 3 years. Kansas still competes in various driving events and still shows the world what a champion he is. Kansas and Cindy are excited to bring a group of Welsh Ponies to BreyerFest to show guests just how versatile and athletic this pony breed really is! Kansas will be driven by Cindy Bellis-Jones.
Windhover Bold Tribute is a Section B Welsh pony. He is a beloved lesson pony at Sara Gardner’s Windhover Farm. He is a jack of all trades. Bold is very much proof of the versatile nature of a Welsh pony. He loves a good costume contest and treats. He teaches kids of all ages from little 5-year-olds all the way up to beginner adults. He has the world’s comfiest canter and has competed in mounted games and local hunter shows with multiple students. He was also reserve in the KHJA beginner rider division for 2024. Bold will be ridden by Cassie Greiling.
Halcyonia Night Life is a 5-year-old Section C Welsh Cob stallion. The young versatile stallion has been proving himself a champion both in and outside the show ring. Ace has been making a name for himself in the dressage ring as in driving, with winning classes across Canada and the US. He is now starting to pass off all his wonderful attributes to the next generation of Welsh ponies. As one of BreyerFest 2025’s Limited Edition Portrait Horses, Ace will be demonstrating in his own timeslot but returning to be a part of the Welsh Pony Demo with owner Emilia Quaggiotto.
Gallod Keeping Time is a 10-year-old Section D Welsh gelding. Davies as he is known as in the barn currently shows on the Rollingwoods Farm show string in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Low Hunter, Carriage Driving, and Adult Walk-Trot classes. He also has experience in Combined Driving events and Dressage. Davies is a prime example of the exceptional versatility of the Welsh Cob. Davies will be ridden by Natalie Hanisco.
Ditto Comet is a Section D Welsh Cob who was purchased as Aidan Russell’s first pony from a Craigslist ad. They were both 5 years old. Comet was a rescue, but we knew he was special, and he immediately took a liking to Aidan. He was a feisty pony but always took care of his young rider. They have shown in multiple disciplines and won ribbons in eventing, dressage, jumpers, and on the Welsh Pony circuit. He has fox hunted many seasons with Aidan and Christy May. Comet has carried the flag for the opening ceremonies at the Kentucky 3 Day Event and has been a mount for the outriders on the cross-country course. He has spent the last several summers serving as a breed ambassador at the Kentucky Horse Park in the Breeds Barn, welcoming visitors and performing in their daily shows. In the winters, Comet still hunts first field with Camargo Hunt. Comet will be ridden by Aiden Russell.
Castleberrys Royalty is a Section D Welsh Cob who was a national champion as a weanling. Royalty comes from a line of champion Welsh Cobs who have excelled in the Welsh show world and sport horse world. She had very little riding experience but has been quite the trail riding prodigy. She jumped right in and tackled some tough trails and even overnight camping trips and loves being challenged by technical trails. Over the winter she began her hunter training and started fox hunting. Eventually she will be a broodmare for Cob Creek Farm. Royalty will be ridden by Chirsty May.
Thornbeck Lili’r Dydd (pronounced liller deeth) is a 21-year-old Section D Welsh Cob mare. Owner Elizabeth Lavallee has had Lily for 4 years. Lily was bred in Canada and imported to Oregon. Before coming to Elizabeth a lot of time and love was put into this talented mare. The pair traveled around the country last year competing in driving trials and pleasure shows. Elizabeth hopes to continue competing with Lily until she is ready to retire. Lily will be driven by Elizabeth Lavallee.
Bluegrass Sensation is a 9-year-old Welsh pony cross owned by Cindy Bellis-Jones. The stunning paint gelding with blue eyes was sired by Nistar Blazing Kansas. Splash has shown in the hunters and has been to Pony Finals. He has a wonderful personality and is very curious and expressive. He also loves carrots! Splash will be ridden by Sarah Holladay.
Rollingwoods Walk Softly is an 11-year-old Half-Welsh mare. Sophie as she is known as in the barn, is the ultimate all around pony. She has garnered dozens of national awards with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society both as a riding pony and a driving pony! Sophie has an exceptional brain and can go from running speed events as fast as she can with a more experienced driver to helping a new child driver win her first championship and not put a foot out of place. Sophie is a staple in Rollingwoods Farm carriage driving lesson program and in 2024 was named Welsh of the Year recognizing her exceptional versatility. Sophie will be driven by Alex Clark.
Windhover Fantastic Mr. Fox is a Welsh thoroughbred cross. Originally bred as a sales prospect, Fox quickly found a spot as a permanent family member. He has a gentle disposition, but the thoroughbred cross added a bit of height and energy. Fox loves to trail ride and attend hunter paces, and is game for anything in the hunt field. He also shows 2’6” in the local hunter divisions. He is brave and smart and lives the dream life as a busy adults best friend until his kid is old enough to take the reins! Fox will be ridden by Sara Gardener.
Greymeadows Colby is an 8-year-old dapple grey, medium pony with a heart as big as his jump. A striking cross of Welsh, Holsteiner, and Thoroughbred, Colby embodies the classic Welsh pony temperament, kind, intelligent, and full of personality. He competes with his 10-year-old rider, Audrina McCall, from Knoxville, TN, in multiple disciplines including pony hunters, pony jumpers, eventing, pony club, and fox hunting. Together, Colby and Audrina have become a dynamic team to watch, proudly representing the Welsh Pony breed wherever they go. Whether he's tackling a challenging cross-country course or soaring through a jumper round, Colby is all heart, all talent—and always a ton of fun. Colby will be ridden by Audrina McCall.
