Sip in the Shade!
Back again for the third year, our friends at West Sixth Brewing will be joining us in the beer garden, serving up pints of locally-brewer beer for BreyerFest fans.
Founded in 2012, West Sixth Brewing is located in a 100-year-old building called the Bread Box, historically used for the Rainbo Bread Factory, in Lexington, Kentucky. West Sixth prides themselves on both the craft beer they make and having a positive social impact on the communities they are a part of. They brew and can or bottle dozens of beers throughout the year and focus on brewing beers with high quality and creativity that they are proud to serve to their friends and family. West Sixth supports the direct work of non-profits through their Sixth for a Cause Foundation - powered by programs such as Pay it Forward Cocoa Porter, Sixth for a Cause, Wooden Nickel, Pedaling for a Purpose, and other statewide sponsorships. They are environmentally conscious in everything that they do and strive to be an awesome place to work for their more than 100 employees.
If you’re a Kentucky local, check them out at their Lexington or Louisville taproom locations, visit their farm in Frankfort, or check out their pop-up location in Newport. They also participate at a variety of other events that you can learn more about here!
Be sure to stop by the Beer Garden tent at BreyerFest to say hi to our awesome friends from West Sixth, listen to some local music, and grab a bite to eat.
