Team mascots have a unique and challenging job! They must enjoy people and love performing – both hallmarks of the Arabian breed! Since 1993, the NFL’s Denver Broncos Team Mascot has been a grey Arabian horse named Thunder.
Thunder's gameday duties include leading the Broncos out of the tunnel, and galloping down the field after touchdowns. Three different horses have played Thunder over the years. The current Thunder is Me n' My Shadow, a 19-year-old gelding who made his debut at Superbowl XLVIII.
