The Celebration Horse for BreyerFest 2023:Driving Forward is a true leader and the perfect combination of beauty and intelligence, with just enough fiery temperament to make him a standout driving horse!
The triathlon of the driving world, Combined Driving tests the control, agility, obedience, and endurance of horses and drivers over three phases of competition: Dressage, Marathon, and Cones. International driver Misdee Wrigley Miller ended up finding the perfect addition to her four-in-hand team in Bravour 54.
The handsome bay KWPN gelding, known for his stylish movement and fiery, bold temperament, came to Misdee in 2017. Though Misdee wanted to bring Bravour back to basics and get to know him before having him join one of her teams, fate had other plans when one of Misdee’s horses unexpectedly passed away before the 2018 World Equestrian Games.

Bravour was then put to the test and on the fast track preparing for the games. Rising to the occasion, the quirky and talented horse proved to be a steady leader in all three phases, especially shining in Dressage. At the end of the day Bravour helped the United States win its first Gold Medal in the sport, and helped Misdee become the first woman to win Gold in Combined Driving at the World Equestrian Games! Bravour 54 has truly earned the title as Misdee’s “Golden Boy!”

I do not own one model on this old mold. I am excited about this one and love his new tail! I have wanted one on this mold but just haven’t bought one. So he will be a welcome addition to my herd!

Really cool horse, but mold…Not so much. It isn’t like Breyer’s newest horses, with sleek finishes. This one? This one looks vintage…😞

Beautiful choice for the celebration horse! I have to admit though I am disappointed in the mold choice. When I saw the above photo of Bravour in solo harness, my first thought was “oh, he would look great on the Big Ben mold!”

I don’t really like the mold because it looks old fashioned but he is cute in real life! Good job!
