BreyerFest 2026 Equine Extravaganza Demonstrations Application
Event Dates: July 10, 11, 12, 2026
Submission Deadline: December 17, 2025
BreyerFest® is a three-day festival that celebrates all things equine! For 37 years, this family-friendly event has connected fans of all ages with equines and provided a place for a community to thrive. The real-life Breyer Horses and demonstration groups set the stage for the magic to happen! As we look forward to BreyerFest 2026: Midsummer Fair (July 10-12 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY as well as online at BreyerHorses.com) we would like to encourage riding clubs, teams, or single riders to show us their talents, unique breeds, disciplines, or stories for an opportunity to be part of our Equine Extravaganza.
One of the many exciting activities at BreyerFest is being able to see and interact with real equines both at the Event Stables and in the Equine Extravaganza held in the Covered Arena. The Equine Extravaganza provides a unique opportunity for fans to learn about different breeds and disciplines in an entertaining setting. If you are passionate about your horse or pony, breed or discipline, and love engaging and talking with people, please read the requirements below for how to apply for the chance to participate. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure to a wide audience and show off your equine’s talents!
Applications for the BreyerFest 2026 Equine Extravaganza open October 1st and close December 17th.
If you or your breed association/group is interested in participating as a demonstrator during BreyerFest please read the instructions below on how to submit your horse or group for consideration.
Please note this is to apply to be a part of the Equine Extravaganza demonstrations at BreyerFest only, this is NOT an application or nomination for your equine(s) to be made into a model. Suggestions for model consideration may be submitted to Breyer separately but will not be considered through this specific application form.
Selection Process
- To be considered as a potential performer/demonstrator at BreyerFest 2026, your application must be completed and submitted by no later than 11:59pm ET, December 17, 2025 via the online form below. If you submit an application after the December deadline your application will be saved and may be considered for future BreyerFest events. Applications submitted in any other way (e.g., email) will not be considered.
- Applicants will not be notified of the status of their application before January 31, 2026. Please do not email or call about the status as we will be unable to respond prior to the final selection. Groups/individuals selected by the committee will be contacted directly by a Breyer Representative on or around January 31st with further instruction.
- Groups or individuals have an equal chance of being selected. Selection is largely based on ability to educate and entertain guests.
- For groups, please select one (1) member to be the Group Coordinator. Group Coordinators will be the individuals to submit the application and, if selected, will be the main point of contact for BreyerFest Event Management.
- Please do not submit an application on behalf of someone else, unless you are the parent or legal guardian submitting on behalf of a minor. By submitting an application you are representing that you have all necessary rights to represent the horse(s) and or individual/group submitted. Individuals must be 18 years (or the legal age of majority) in order to submit an application.
- Demonstrating at BreyerFest 2024 or 2025 does not mean you will be selected to perform in 2026. If you/your group demonstrated at BreyerFest in 2024 or 2025 you will be automatically entered in the selection process for consideration, however the selection committee will consider all applicants equally when making their final determination.
- Reeves/Breyer reserves the right to limit the number of representatives per breed or discipline, and/or to decline or prohibit participation by an animal/farm/owner, which Reeves/Breyer determines is not suitable for or in keeping with the character of BreyerFest. Breyer also reserves the right to allow additional representatives of a particular breed or discipline should time and space allow.
Video Requirements
- Groups or individuals who did not participate in BreyerFest events in 2024 or 2025 post 2024 must submit a video for consideration. If you participated in 2024 or 2025 you do not have to submit a video unless you are proposing a new and different demonstration.
- Videos must be no more than 5 minutes in length. Even if your total performance is over 5 minutes your video should show example(s) of what you and your equine(s) are planning on showcasing.
- Please provide a link to your video (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo) where indicated in the application below. The link you provide must be viewable by our selection committee without a login required. If your link is not viewable you will not be notified, and your application will not be considered. Please do not send video files directly to Breyer, only online links will be reviewed and considered.
- Your video must include examples of what you plan to present at BreyerFest and must include the equine(s) you plan to bring. Video can include voice overs talking about the equine(s) or slides with text as well as the footage of the equine(s) and rider(s). BreyerFest is about educating and entertaining people about breeds, disciplines, talents, and stories, so be creative and show off your equine(s) in the best light.
- Videos are for viewing and consideration by the Breyer selection committee only and will not be used for any other purpose.
