These horses and their friends have made memories that will last a lifetime!
Planning any event comes with inherent, unavoidable challenges, no matter the size or scope of the event. The Breyer Events Team is used to dealing with hurdles, but at 2022’s Ponies & Palm Trees Collector Club Event, that hurdle was Hurricane Nicole.
A late-season rarity, Nicole was headed straight towards the east coast of Florida and was scheduled to land mid-week, still leaving the weekend clear for the event. Not knowing how flights would be impacted, the Events Team said YOLO, boarded a plane two days early, and flew to Florida to ride out the storm.
Working with our Polo partners and the incredible team at the host hotel, the team was able to swap evening activities to accommodate for a storm-soaked polo field, hosting the White Party as a welcome party on Friday evening and offering guests a full day of equestrian activities on Saturday instead, concluding with a beautiful, private Asada for 200 at Pony Express with Nic Roldan.
Our next Special Run reveal celebrates the many leap-of-faith decisions that the Breyer Events Team has made over the years. YOLO is a stunning dapple grey on the Vanner mold (#723), sculpted by Kathleen Moody. This handsome Special Run model will only be available to our in-person VIP and All-Access ticket holders, and we know you can't wait to add him to your herd!
We will see you right back here on the BreyerFest Blog tomorrow!
