Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of BreyerFest was an incredible experience. Generations of horse-loving families descended on Lexington to join us in the biggest party of the last 30 years. We could not be more thankful to everyone who attended and helped us thank the many Horse Heroes in our lives.
Kat and I are lucky enough to spend every day making plans to bring BreyerFest to the next level. We especially love bringing new and exciting groups to the event. This year, we made it our mission (one of many!) to have the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride with us at BreyerFest. This trip would be the first time the RCMP Musical Ride had been to Lexington, KY. We were determined to make it happen, but navigating an international visit for a troop of this size - 32 horses and riders - was no small feat. After more than a year of working with the tour manager in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, we FINALLY got to meet The Ride in Lexington! We were honored to have them with us.
Meeting the horses at BreyerFest never gets old. We, like all of you, turn into big kids when we see our favorite models in real life at the stables. During BreyerFest week, I have the opportunity to chat with the guest horse owners and I tell them all that regardless of how famous they are, the horses are the real rock stars for the weekend, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! After all, Breyer and BreyerFest are all about celebrating the power, majesty and grace of the horse.
We can’t wait to see you all again in 2020. Slán go fóill!
- Jaime, Breyer Senior Events Manager
