With just about two weeks to go to the BIGGEST Breyer event of the year, things are heating up outside in New Jersey and inside here at HQ!
We are thrilled to finally be revealing this beauty to you – our SATURDAY Raffle model, Bonheur!
Rosa (Marie-Rosalie) Bonheur was a French artist, mostly a painter of animals, but also a sculptor in a realistic style. Her studies and work, predominantly with animals, was pioneering at the time especially for women. Some of her more famous paintings, Plowing in the Nivernais and The Horse Fair, not only depict the realistic qualities of animals, but captures their soul and spirit as well.
Our Saturday raffle model, Bonheur, is a tribute to this revolutionary artist, and has been done on mold # 715, sculpted by Susan Carlton Sifton. Like her paintings, Bonheur sports a beautiful realistic rich silver bay color topped with gloss! We know this girl will be one to stand out among your herd!
