A Winning Pair!

We are thrilled to be revealing this year’s BreyerMidwest Overall Champion prize for the Youth & Novice Model Horse Show – Tigerlily and Firestorm!

This pair was originally the second release in the 2024 Premier Club and three lucky champs will get to take this adorable pair home with them.

Sculpted by Rayvin Maddock and designed by Lynn Cassels-Caldwell, this dynamic mother/son duo pairs beautifully with the 2021 Premier Club release, Fireheart (also by sculpted by Rayvin).  This beautiful pair was Lynn’s first design work for Breyer and she took great care when designing their authentic coats and considered the genetic possibilities when paired with Fireheart. She painted Tigerlily a rich blue roan, and her colt a flashy buckskin appaloosa.

As we mentioned last week, there is still room in the Youth & Novice model horse show at BreyerMidwest if you want to join!  This show is geared towards both younger showers (5 to 17) and newer adult showers, so don’t be shy about joining in the fun as an adult.  This is a great way to learn the ins and outs of showing your models in an in-person environment if you’re new to the world of showing your models.  Learn more about showing here!
