  • Black and white acrylic paint
  • Rubber gloves
  • Gloss medium
  • Fine-point paintbrushes (synthetic/taklon)
  • Cup of water
  • Paper towels
  • Paint palette (or plastic lid/paper plate)
  • Matte sealing spray (ex. Americana, Rustoleum, Dullcote)
  • Reference image of leopard appaloosa horse
  • Reference image of horse hair growth chart

Optional But Handy Additional Supplies:

  • Additional acrylic paint
    • Burnt Umber
    • Metallic gold
    • Light tan/skin tone
  • Multipurpose sandpaper (200 and 400 grit)
  • Mini hacksaw (or steak knife) for removing unicorn horn, if necessary
